Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Valid LA license and excellent driving record. Five years of experience in military, law enforcement, or security is preferred. Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) active certification is preferred. Must have a level of writing ability to record data such as room numbers and/or names on lists.
Responsibilities: Supervises daily hospital security program operations. Reviews, investigates and evaluates security situations reported to Security in accordance with hospital - approved methods as required. Maintains knowledge of various department locations, buildings, access routes and admitting requirements. Works with hospital management to identify the specific security needs of each location and/or department and responds appropriately. Maintains knowledge of control panels, alarms, and related security equipment to provide area and visitor surveillance. Any other duties as assigned by Woman's Hospital.
Schedule:
Full-Time
Required to work 12 hour shifts - rotating days and nights
Pay Range:
Hourly/Non-Exempt
$12.00 - $17.00; based on work experience
