MillenniumSoft Inc . This position is based in Richmond, VA, and local candidates are strongly preferred. All candidates must be able to attend an in-person interview if requested. The contract is expected to be extended beyond 6/30/18, possibly for 1-2 years. The role requires a very senior resource, with excellent communication and presentation skills, not just coding. The Senior Software Engineer will lead web-based development projects, design and develop software, integrate COTS software via APIs and web services, and ensure code quality through testing and static analysis. Collaboration with team members, mentoring, and effective communication are essential. Qualifications include significant experience with full SDLC, object-oriented development, Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, JPA), SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and experience with web services. Knowledge of tools like Subversion, Linux, Nexus, Jenkins, SonarQube, and exposure to .NET, Oracle, Weblogic, and penetration testing are pluses.
