We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic
Senior Security Analyst
to lead and mature our cybersecurity program. This role combines hands-on threat detection and incident response with broader
CISO-level responsibilities , including governance, risk management, compliance, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will play a key role in securing organization's digital assets, developing policies, managing risk, and advising executive leadership on all matters related to cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities Security Operations: Monitor and analyze logs and alerts from various security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls) Lead security incident response, including investigation, coordination, remediation, and reporting Conduct proactive threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration test coordination Implement, tune, and manage security technologies and automation tools Strategic Security Leadership: Develop and maintain the organizations information security strategy and roadmap Create, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures Present cybersecurity risks, initiatives, and metrics to executive leadership and stakeholders Lead security awareness and training programs across the organization Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, NYDFS, NIST, ISO 27001) Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and cybersecurity vendors Governance, Risk, and Compliance: Develop and maintain enterprise risk assessments and third-party risk management processes Lead the development of business continuity and disaster recovery planning (BCP/DR) Manage data protection and privacy efforts aligned with applicable laws and standards Track and mitigate emerging threats and regulatory changes impacting the business Who You Are Senior analyst, security engineer, or CISO/Deputy CISO role roles (MSP/IT services a plus) Proven track record of scaling teams, systems, and processes Hands-on contributor with exceptional communication skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, founder-led environment Thrives on ownership, accountability and driving real impact What We Offer Clear path for career growth as the company scales Close-knit culture that values ownership, transparency and collaboration Competitive compensation with performance based incentives Interested?
