Technician II Manufacturing (SMT Operator)
Are you mechanically inclined or tech-savvy and looking to build a career in electronics manufacturing? We're seeking motivated individuals with basic mechanical or machine aptitude who are eager to learn and grow with hands-on trainingno prior SMT or electronics experience required!
The Technician II Manufacturing (SMT Operator) plays a key role in operating and supporting machinery used in the assembly of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). You'll work with a team to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate automated manufacturing equipment such as solder paste printers, reflow ovens, inspection tools, and other machinery used in the SMT process.
- Set up machines, load basic programs, and perform routine maintenance to keep production running smoothly.
- Monitor production flow and perform basic inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist in identifying and resolving simple equipment or process issues with guidance from senior technicians or engineers.
- Follow written instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures to support accurate component placement and assembly.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work closely with team members to improve efficiency and processes over time.
- Follow all company safety and quality policies.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Experience / Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training, mechanical coursework, or related experience is a plus, but not required.
- No prior experience in electronics manufacturing neededtraining provided for candidates with the right aptitude.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical or machine operation aptitude (e.g., comfortable working with tools or machines).
- Willingness to learn technical processes and follow detailed instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime to meet production demands.
Schedule:
- 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
