New opening for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to be our Project Manager and oversee and lead large scale endeavors. There is no PE required for this role also this is not a designing role but must have previous experience in design to oversee the process. If you are an individual with a strong background in mechanical design, specifically HVAC and process systems with the willingness to take ownership of overseeing design from SD to CD we want to speak with you!
Salary: $130k-$150k
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the design process across Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration of all systems. Serve as liaison between engineering and clients. Ability to take conceptual design through construction. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to ensure timely and efficient integration of all systems. Work with vendors while supporting the overall project schedule and budget. Manage the development of all project designs, ensuring they meet client requirements, codes, and regulations. Review and approve detailed MEP design drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure quality, accuracy and compliance. Manage project budgets, tracking and reporting on design. Monitor scope changes and provide recommendations for adjustments as needed. Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize systems performance while reducing costs. Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Mechanicaal Engineering or related field (Masters degree a plus). 8+ years experience in mechanical design of HVAC/Mechanical solutions, MEP with focus on construction projects. Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale projects (1 Million+). Strong background in managing project budgets, scope, and clients relationships. Expertise in HVAC system design. Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit. Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Excellent communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Benefits:
