One of Insight Global's clients is looking to onboard a Sr. QA Engineer to their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing. They will conduct both manual and automated testing to identify defects and evaluate performance, usability, and security. Additionally, they will plan and execute user acceptance tests (UAT), log and manage defects in collaboration with developers, and maintain thorough test results and processes documentation. This is a 11-month contract and a fully remote opportunity working in the Pacific Time Zone. The pay range for this role is $45-$48/hr. Skills and Requirements: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance. Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and methodologies. Experience with Thunderbird (preferred) or Postman. Experience writing unit tests in Golang using Go Test and in JavaScript using ViTest. Proven experience with Selenium. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with performance and security testing. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE). Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for automated testing.
