The Central Automation and Tools team is responsible for enhancing automation in our QE workflows, including analyzing workflows, data, and tools to improve testing strategies. We seek a creative leader to explore and implement new technologies for continuous improvement. You will collaborate with QE Managers and Automation Engineers across Apple, contributing to all development cycle stages from research to deployment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork and leveraging innovative technology to solve complex problems for multiple teams. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; two years of relevant experience may substitute. Experience in leading and developing small to medium engineering teams. Strong fundamentals in computer science. Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, C++, or similar languages. Preferred Qualifications
Ability to quickly learn new technologies. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Background in developing and deploying testing tools and infrastructure. Experience with Apple platforms (Xcode, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS) is a plus. Detail-oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver passionate about quality. Skilled in troubleshooting, prioritizing, and proposing solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. At Apple, compensation includes base pay within a range, with opportunities for growth. The base pay range is $181,000 to $272,300, depending on skills and experience.
