Application Engineer with a strong foundation in
machining processes
and a passion for solving complex manufacturing challenges. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the productivity and tooling performance of large-scale manufacturers. Key Responsibilities Identify and recommend optimal cutting tools based on machining parameters and applications Troubleshoot tooling and process issues, offering data-driven recommendations Analyze tooling performance and suggest improvements through design enhancements Collaborate closely with manufacturers to drive tool life extension, machine uptime, and quality improvements Support process and manufacturing engineers with tooling-related initiatives Participate in daily plant production and tooling meetings Manage tooling vendors and oversee communication and updates Required Qualifications Bachelors degree or demonstrated expertise in
Manufacturing ,
Industrial , or
Mechanical Engineering Minimum
2 years of hands-on experience
in a manufacturing environment, with focus on: Cutting tools & metalworking Process design, implementation & management Tool life optimization , machine uptime, and lean practices Proficient with
CNC operations
and tooling systems (indexable, solid carbide, etc.) Strong understanding of
materials ,
surface finishes , and
surface treatments Ability to read technical blueprints and engineering drawings Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
tools, especially
