The Product Development Associate will work closely with the product development team to help execute the seasonal design development process, from concept to delivery to the client. Associate will help to process out fabric and sampling requests, sending samples to buyers, and help organize/maintain Miro board and excel tracking charts.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with the Product Development Team to execute the seasonal design development process, from concept to client delivery. Manage the process with overseas suppliers to ensure all files necessary for style development and production are dispatched and properly followed during the sampling process. Communicate with overseas factories to ensure accurate requests for new seasonal fabrics. Communicate with the client to relay sampling ETAs and maintain open communication throughout the sampling process. Organize and maintain Miro boards and Excel tracking charts. Ensure that development samples meet the required aesthetic, quality, and fit standards while adhering to the client's price parameters. Oversee the receipt of all development and production samples from factories, providing clients with timely updates on ETAs. Create print artwork as needed by the client. Request and review production T&A (Time & Action) plans, ensuring that overseas factories are maintaining timelines to meet shipping dates. After development transitions to production, review and submit production samples accordingly per style. Qualifications/Job Skills
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in similar role Must be highly organized and detail oriented Knowledge of garment construction and Design Can provide solution-based remedies when faced with stringent deadlines and unforeseeable obstacles that arise during sampling/production Excellent communication and follow through skills Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Program knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Sweater knowledge preferred
