Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or completion of an SLPA certification program. Valid state licensure or certification as an SLPA (as required by the state). Provide direct speech-language services to students as directed by the supervising SLP. Assist with the implementation of IEP goals and therapy plans. Document student progress, maintain service logs, and prepare reports for review by the supervising SLP. Prepare therapy materials and assist with scheduling sessions. Support data collection and assessment activities under supervision. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families while maintaining professional boundaries. Follow all federal, state, and district regulations related to special education and therapy services. Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
