Overview
This position is contingent upon hire and requires a secret security clearance. The location is subject to change.
Responsibilities:
The Engineer/Scientist must have appropriate education and experience to receive guidance from senior level managers/engineers/scientists and work independently to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Provide technical and engineering support for the design, development, evaluation, analysis, documentation, production, and sustainment of Uncrewed Unmanned Systems (UAS) systems, including associated supporting systems.
• Identify, plan, resource, and implement cohesive integrated strategies to train the Warfighter to operate and maintain the Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide engineering services in the area of cyber security and information assurance, aircraft survivability, and mission systems architecture.
• Identify, plan, resource, and develop the documentation required to acquire Training Aides Devices Simulators and Simulations (TADSS).
• Provide support in sustaining TADSS at the lowest total ownership cost.
• Adhere to the company's AS9100 policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related discipline, or the minimum experience listed
• The Engineer/Scientist must have a minimum of 15 years of related job experience after obtaining a degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• An engineer must have received an engineering degree from an accredited program of study.
• A Scientist must have received a science degree from an accredited college or university.
• Secret security clearance is required.
