GENERAL PURPOSE The Data Analyst will utilize Power BI to create, implement, and oversee key business metrics and reporting across diverse data sets to identify opportunities for improving business and manufacturing processes. This role involves cross-departmental collaboration, engaging with data and employees throughout the organization, and providing the essential data and information necessary to drive impactful business improvements. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop interactive, functional, and visually appealing reports and dashboards. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements. Work with data engineers, database administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability and quality for Power BI solutions. Ensure the scalability and performance of Power BI solutions. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Identify and recommend opportunities to automate reporting processes and reduce manual effort through reusable datasets or scheduled refreshes. Stay informed about the latest features, updates, and best practices to utilize them effectively. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, IS, or Business Analytics required. 3-5 years' experience with Power BI required. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with data analysis and visualization tools. Expertise in SQL queries and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Experience in data models and semantic models within Power BI. Proficiency in DAX and Power Query. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Strong understanding of reporting systems and data structures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with financial or manufacturing data is preferred. Power BI certification is a plus.
