Job Category: Technical Full-time position available. NorthWest EMS is a professional non-profit ambulance service covering the 911 medical services for 15 municipalities in Allegheny County as well as the Pittsburgh International Airport. The EMS Dispatcher will be responsible for tasks including, but not limited to: Answering inbound calls promptly and politely Listening to the caller and determining what type of assistance they require Directing crew movement and allocation of emergency resources based on system status management Scheduling non-emergency transports and courtesy shuttle appointments Thorough documentation of each incident Preparation of daily run reports Requirements: Valid Drivers License High School Diploma or G.E.D.
