As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and clients. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a high level of professionalism and readiness at all times. You will utilize your customer service skills to address inquiries and assist with any security-related concerns, all while upholding the values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun 08:00 PM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location. Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site procedures. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and/or concerns. Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when necessary. Support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Must participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
