$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) Mission-driven nonprofit supporting adult learners in higher education Hybrid schedule: 2 days/week in downtown Boston office near public transit Reports directly to CFO Owns the full accounting cycle including payroll, billing, and close Manage monthly close process and maintain general ledger accuracy Oversee payroll for full-time and adjunct faculty using Paylocity Supervise Staff Accountant handling AP, AR, and billing Support ERP implementation (transitioning from QuickBooks to NetSuite) Prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations Collaborate with leadership on budgeting and financial planning
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit Proficient in Excel (pivot tables) and familiar with ERP systems Strong organizational and communication skills Experience managing or mentoring staff
