$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr This position requires active U.S. national security clearance and the ability to obtain one. To learn more about the security clearance process please access this link. Additionally, travel may be required to customer and subcontractor sites as well as other office locations. Systems Innovation Engineering (SIE) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Accelint which develops integrated software, sensor, and systems engineering solutions at the speed of relevance to provide accelerated intelligence and operational dominance to our Aerospace and Defense (A&D) customers. The Senior Full Stack Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications within an advanced software and Edge Solutions team. This role involves leading full stack software development efforts that include both font and back-end development activities. The position requires performing detailed analyses and ensuring the integration of software components necessary to provide an end-to-end software solution. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in software development, with a demonstrated ability to lead software development efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and ensure best practices in coding standards. Understanding of both frontend and backend software applications as part of the software architecture Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system testing, to ensure software quality and functionality. Debug and resolve complex software defects and issues. Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to software development. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation. Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively. Utilize advanced software development tools and methodologies to support project requirements. Integrate software development tools and methodologies into the workflow to improve efficiency and accuracy. Manage software development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in software development or related discipline. Proficiency in software development principles and methodologies. Advanced proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Desired Qualifications: Experience with software development frameworks and libraries. Experience with React software frameworks for frontend applications Experience using Kubernetes or other orchestration software as part of a Platform as a Service (PaaS) architecture Experience with data streaming applications (Confluent, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) Experience developing both cloud based (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and edge applications Familiarity with version control systems (Git) Knowledge of DoD software development policies and requirements. Clearance Information:
Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).
