Job Summary
B&A is looking for an Agile Project Manager to support our corporate office. As an Agile Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of software projects by applying agile principles and methodologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a strong background in Java development, DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and expertise as a Scrum Master.
Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team. Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to define project scope, requirements, and timelines. Manage project priorities, dependencies, and risks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Act as a Scrum Master, coaching and mentoring team members on agile best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Utilize Java development skills to provide technical guidance and support to development teams as needed. Implement DevOps practices to streamline the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring. Leverage cloud technologies to optimize scalability, performance, and reliability of software applications.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience. Required Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Required Skills
Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role in software development. Strong proficiency in Java development and understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and configuration management. Hands-on experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Security Clearance
Eligible to obtain a security clearance.
