Role Overview The CNN Digital Research & Analytics team is seeking a Senior Analyst focused on strategy, implementation, and enablement of data solutions for marketing and audience platforms. This role involves managing workflows for accurate data collection, processing, analysis, and enablement for Martech and Ad tech platforms. The successful candidate will support data strategy execution and serve as a core resource for enabling data solutions and usage, working closely with marketing and analytics teams to support data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities
Design and optimize data for improved tracking, attribution, and cross-platform campaign activation. Lead tagging/tracking setups (Adobe Tag Manager, GTM) and server-side integrations (Meta CAPI, TikTok Events API), troubleshooting data discrepancies. Act as a liaison between analytics and growth marketing teams to facilitate access to clean, actionable data, enabling self-service reporting and audience segmentation. Monitor data quality and resolve issues related to signal loss, deduplication, and match rates. Align tracking requirements with business goals, supporting testing and ROI measurement. Perform data validation and develop documentation for proper data utilization. Contribute to data modeling and visualization to support team enablement. Support the development of data processes, standards, and best practices. Qualifications & Experience
3+ years in data enablement and analytics, with marketing or ad tech experience. Experience with tracking implementations, tag management (Adobe/Google Tag Manager), and server-side integrations. Proficiency in SQL and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker). Experience with data management & modeling tools (DBT, AirFlow, Databricks). Knowledge of data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift, Azure). Exposure to data pipelines and engineering solutions (Snowplow preferred). Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Strong communication, analytical, and data translation skills. Familiarity with Python is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines. Experience with analytics solutions (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics). Experience with ad tech platforms (paid media, CDPs, MMPs).
