Mainframe Developer . This is a
30+months contract
opportunity with long-term potential and is located in

Pay Range: $50 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key Skills; COBOL, JCL, VSAM 10 years of experience
in mainframe development. Proficiency in
COBOL ,
JCL (Job Control Language) , and
VSAM . Experience with
DB2
or other mainframe databases. Strong understanding of
mainframe architecture, CICS online processing
and
batch processing . Familiarity with
TSO/ISPF ,
Endevor , or similar tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities. Experience with
CICS
(Customer Information Control System). Knowledge of
REXX ,
Assembler , or
PL/I . Exposure to
Agile methodologies
and
DevOps practices
in a mainframe environment. Familiarity with
mainframe modernization tools
or
cloud migration strategies . Understanding of
financial services ,
insurance , or
healthcare
domains.
