Analyze large-scale RNA-seq datasets to uncover: Transcriptional changes in immune cells Mechanistic insights into drug activity Biomarkers of response or resistance Collaborate cross-functionally with protein engineering, protein sciences, and translational/pharmacology teams to interpret data and guide decision-making. Present findings to internal stakeholders and contribute to scientific and regulatory documents. Design and execute in vitro immunological assays including: Primary T cell culture and stimulation Flow cytometry and cell staining Drug screening and functional assays Prepare immune cell samples for RNA sequencing, including: Cell isolation and processing Library preparation and sequencing run setup Other duties as deemed necessary REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 4+ years (Senior Scientist) or 6+ years (Principal Scientist) of relevant experience in academia or industry. Deep expertise in T cell biology and immunological assay development. Hands-on experience with RNA sequencing workflows, including sample prep, sequencing instrumentation, and data analysis. Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and pipelines for transcriptomic analysis (e.g., R, Python, Seurat, DESeq2, Loupe). Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. $135,000 - $182,000 a year
In addition to a competitive base salary ranging from $135,000 to $158,000 for a Senior Scientist, and $158,000 to $182,000 for a Principal Scientist, we offer stock options, restricted stock units, a stock purchase plan (ESPP) and a target bonus. Please note that the hourly rate range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and internal equity.
