Job Summary
The main duties of a CAD/BIM Manager include overseeing the implementation and standardization of CAD/BIM processes across various projects, ensuring quality control, and facilitating seamless workflow integration. They work with the design and detail team to provide training, and ensure compliance with project standards and regulations. The CAD/BIM Manager is a technical leader, bridging the gap between design, engineering, and project execution.
Essential Functions
Developing and implementing CAD/BIM protocols and systems for new and ongoing projects. Coordinating and reviewing project models to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards. Leading BIM coordination meetings to discuss project updates and issues. Creating or coordinating training materials and sessions to enhance team proficiency in CAD/BIM software. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to optimize workflow and achieve project goals. Accomplish tasks within the company procedures, specifications, standards, and any project specific addenda. Undertake the Stellar Energy factory supervision work or site supervision when required. Provide technical assistance to the project team as required (e.g. subcontract evaluation, scope definition, design schematics etc.). Maintain good interface with other disciplines.

Competencies
Autodesk or similar suite of software Technical capacity. Problem solving/analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication. Interpersonal and customer service skills.
Work Environment
Most work is performed in an office environment. Regular trips to the fabrication shop for observation and support may be necessary which may require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and head protection.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
The employee must be able to bend, climb, stoop, or stretch as required to examine fabricated components at the site or fabrication shop.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Travel
Anticipated 20% travel for this position. Some occasional local day travel may also be necessary.
Required Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of five years of experience in CAD/BIM design and management. Proficiency in industry-standard CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks). Familiarity with local and international codes and standards. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing CAD/BIM standards. Strong technical knowledge of CAD/BIM workflows and project lifecycle.
Preferred Education And Experience
Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. Professional certification in CAD/BIM software, such as Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit. 7+ years of experience in a design, engineering, or construction role, with significant exposure to CAD/BIM workflows. Experience in power plant, industrial plant, or HVAC design projects. Demonstrated success in project management, team leadership, and technical problem-solving. Advanced skills in managing data-rich Building Information Models and resolving workflow issues.
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
