General Description The
Assistant Clinical Coordinator
is a valuable member of our
Crisis Care team
who assists with the planning, organization, evaluation, and supervision of the Crisis Care Program, which includes 24/7 crisis response to individuals and families in the community experiencing a mental health crisis. Provides direct client care, indirect client care and/or administrative coordination, and support of behavioral health and related activities. Provides community outreach and engagement related to the crisis response system. The Assistant Clinical Coordinator will function as a community liaison and focus on administrative and systems change. Responsible for clinical training of the team.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who Is comfortable handling difficult situations and conversations with staff, coworkers, and clients. Able to view things through a clinical lens (trauma-informed) and assist in educating staff. Knowledgeable regarding important documentation requirements and best practices. ASIST - ACC will have to attend ASIST training (grant-funded travel) to become a trainer for other staff. Since we are 24/7/365, someone who can share in managing situations outside of "work time." Schedule: 40 hours a week
Monday-Friday (10am-6:30pm) On-call for staff 24/7 Essential Functions
Assist the Program Coordinator with oversight of the Crisis Care Program Is on-call to respond to/assist with team needs 24/7. Responds to crisis calls/texts/chats as appropriate and as needed to support the needs of the program. Provides clinical and administrative supervision and development of program staff, including completion of evaluations. Assists Program Coordinator ensuring adequate staff coverage for all shifts. Provides education and direction to clients, family members and/or significant others. Takes responsibility for training in and documenting clinical chart requirements to meet program and state standards. Ensures effective communication among all staff regarding administrative and clinical issues. Recruits, trains, schedules, supervises, and evaluates staff and students, as needed. Participates in staff meetings, in-service training, and seminars to facilitate professional growth and maintain licensure if required. Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education Required
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related behavioral science field. Requires one year of relevant experience in the field. One year of relevant supervisory experience. Valid driver's license. CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
