Senior DevOps and Network Infrastructure Engineer , you will be in a hands-on technical position, focusing on the efficient operation of developer automation and solutions, productivity, processes, and infrastructure support. You will be responsible for maintaining and scaling their private network, cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps activities. This is an ideal role for a broad-skilled generalist who enjoys working across a variety of activities, including managing multiple products in production, pre-production, quality, and development environments. This is not a maintenance role. It’s an opportunity to help shape and scale critical infrastructure at the core of a cutting-edge autonomous systems platform. The team moves quickly, iterates fast, and tackles real-world engineering problems with high stakes and meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities: Design, maintain, and secure Linux-based infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments Build CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps workflows to streamline development and deployment Architect systems that support real-time operations of autonomous vehicles and connected hardware Support edge compute environments with unique bandwidth, power, and latency constraints Improve security, scalability, and reliability of systems spanning from developer environments to live mission operations KEY QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years professional experience overseeing and designing complex networking infrastructure, including cloud-based, hosted systems in a Linux environment. Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related preferred; equivalent work experience also considered. At least 3 years supporting DevOps using combination of common CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, Github, Github Actions Experience in some/all the following AWS stack services: Lambda, ECS, EC2, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch. Familiarity with Cloud Security best practices within private-cloud and datacenter environments. Strong scripting skills in Python, bash, and NodeJS (preferred). Interest or prior work involving autonomous systems, robotics, or remote operations and monitoring fleets. Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, containerization and Docker/Kubernetes environments Soft Skills : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, collaborative, open to new ideas, naturally curious, and self-motivated; non-political and team oriented. Location : Must be able to work onsite, fulltime in San Diego, CA in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change depending on business needs. Work Authorization:
Must be US Citizen, plus if eligible for or currently hold Secret Clearance. Nice-to-Have's: Experience with these AWS services a plus: Step Functions, Batch, Kubernetes, ECR (Elastic Container Registry), Fargate, VPC, Glue, Athena Experience with serverless architecture and infrastructure management tools (i.e., Serverless Framework, Troposphere, Terraform, etc.) Machine Learning and Computer Vision infrastructure experience a plus. Experience with other Cloud Platforms (i.e., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Background in building software systems and environments with limited connectivity; Familiarity with GPS, GIS, or navigation-based systems COMPENSATION: $140K–$160K base + equity + excellent benefits Benefits Include
