Selectek is hiring for a Controls Engineer, with a minimum of 4 years experience, in the Indianapolis, IN area, working for a growing systems integration firm.nThis is full time position, starting as contract, expected to go permanent within 6 months of start date.nABILITY TO WORK FROM HOME in the Indianapolis area!nResponsibilities:nnThe Controls Engineer is responsible for systems integration, design, creation, analysis, and testing of automation systems to meet client and project requirements and writing technical documentation.nUndertake various forms of software design and analysis on automation system components while adhering to established company templates.nWrite system code utilizing diverse programming languages and related technologies.nCreate technical documentation for design systems in line with required standards. Collaborate with Managers and Senior Designers to uphold design standards.nParticipate in commissioning processes as per project scope and gain client approval.nEngage in project reviews alongside peers and managers.nDevelop user functional and technical specification documentation.nAssist with service calls and small quotes, subsequently reviewing quotes in coordination with Managers or clients.nMonitor and address high-risk elements within the project's scope.nContribute to formulating guidelines, introducing innovative approaches, and drawing insights from comparative situations.nBe flexible with LOCAL travel, which can be expected to range up to 50%. (Will return home everyday)nnRequirements:nn4 Years of PLC Programming Platform Experience: Rockwell / Allen-Bradley/Siemens,Omron, Modicon, GE etc. and/or a combination of the following working for a Systems Integrator or manufacturing consultant:nPharma Industry experience OR any other regulated industry that uses GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)nHMI Platforms: Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Schneider Electric, etc.nSCADA Platforms: Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Inductive Automation, Wonderware, GE, Siemens, etc.nServo Motion Control: Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Omron, etc.nClient interfacing experiencennPreferred:nnSuccessful or upcoming completion of Associates or B.Sc.
