Software Engineering Manager – Networking & High-Performance Systems

Our client , a fast-growing innovator in the Computer and Network Security space, is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building scalable, low-latency systems for their core security platform. This is a pivotal role for a leader with experience in networking (L3–L7) and security , ready to drive both technical direction and team growth in a high-performance environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of experienced software engineers
• Define and drive architecture across critical networking and infrastructure components
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align engineering with security-focused product goals
• Guide code quality, architecture decisions, and assist with debugging as needed
• Cultivate a culture of ownership, collaboration, and engineering excellence
• ️ 3+ years of engineering management experience
• ️ Proven experience with networking protocols (L3–L7) and security principles
• ️ Solid foundation in Computer and Network Security or similar systems-focused environments
• ️ Ability to understand and guide complex codebases; Python or C++ experience preferred
• ️ Effective communicator and team builder with a track record of technical leadership
