As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help shape our OMS system’s future, executing technical strategies and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that meet user needs. The ideal candidate is proficient in Java, SQL, Terraform, and has experience with JavaScript. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions are essential. Previous experience in a startup environment and familiarity with agile methodologies are preferred. Design, develop, and deploy microservices and scalable solutions using Spring Boot, Java, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud technologies. Promote best practices, ensure quality standards, and mentor team members. Design and maintain inter-service communication, data consistency, and integrations. Troubleshoot issues, oversee improvements, and document technical decisions. Stay current with emerging trends and technologies to foster innovation. Communicate progress, risks, and project status to leadership. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of enterprise web application experience. Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservice Architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Proficiency with ORM, messaging tools (Kafka, Kinesis, Redis), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). Strong understanding of CI/CD, observability tools, and agile/lean methodologies. Ability to adapt, align with business goals, and promote quality engineering. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s in a related field, experience with HTML/CSS/JS, React, AI technologies, and digital advertising. Experience collaborating with vendors and a curiosity about Disney’s storytelling and tech innovation. Estimated salary ranges vary by location, with additional benefits and incentives.
