$150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr **This role is open to both NYC and Raleigh, NC** Optomi in partnership with a top global media company, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, high-impact applications in a rapid-growth environment. This opportunity sits within a processing tools team, which develops internal tools that provide insight into complex media and metadata workflows. These applications directly support the engineering and operations teams responsible for publishing content to global streaming services. Were looking for a strong generalist developer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving real-world challenges across both frontend and backend stacks. RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver high-quality, maintainable code Work independently on tasks while managing deadlines and deliverables Collaborate with teammates in a highly agile, innovative engineering culture Provide on-call rotational support as needed Contribute to tools that improve engineering workflows and media processing visibility MUST-HAVE SKILLS: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience Proficient in both backend and frontend development Familiarity with Git and Agile methodologies Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (written and oral) Passion for fast-paced, start-up-style environments NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS: Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure Knowledge of web accessibility standards and media player integration Strong grasp of web standards and emerging technologies Understanding of async programming (callbacks, promises, async/await) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Jenkins Exposure to messaging technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS Seniority level
