A mission-driven healthtech startup is building a next-gen AI platform to transform how care is delivered at home. With strong commercial traction and serious backing, were assembling a founding team to embed AI across every layer of the patient journey, from risk prediction to workflow automation.

Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a newly formed AI team focused on applying large language models (LLMs), intelligent agents, and real-time voice tools to clinical workflows.

What Youll Do

• Build AI-powered tools that generate clinical summaries, surface patient risk, and streamline care coordination.
• Work with technologies like RAG, embeddings, conversational AI, and agent frameworks to solve real-world healthcare problems.
• Collaborate across product, ops, and clinical teams to move quickly from prototype to production.
• Own systems end-to-end, from design and implementation to measurement and iteration.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of backend or full-stack experience (Python or JS/TS)
• 5+ years working with LLMs and applied AI systems
• (e.g. prompt engineering, summarization, RAG, embeddings, voice/chat interfaces)
• Proven ability to ship fast in fast-moving environments
• Curiosity, pragmatism, and a bias for action

Bonus: Experience with healthcare data (FHIR, HL7, clinical notes) is a BIG plus

• LangChain, LangGraph
