Verus is a boutique engineering and technical services firm specializing in industrial automation, controls, SCADA systems, business process engineering and consulting for a wide array of industries. We have expertise in all aspects of systems integration including electrical design, instrumentation, control panel design/build, programming, and commissioning. Since the company’s founding in 2015, Verus has grown to a team of 40 engineers with 4 locations in California, Nevada, Idaho and Oregon. We are growing and looking for the right candidate to join our team.

Requirements
3+ Years experience in Electrical Engineering Experience in using CAD software. Experience designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical instruments, facilities, components, equipment products, or systems for industrial purposes. Experience developing control panel drawings, loop drawings, ladder diagrams, 1-line diagrams, intrinsic circuits, conduit routing and load calculations. Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment. Experience ensuring all installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps. Ensuring compliance with specifications, applicable codes, and customer requirements. Preparing specifications for purchasing of electrical equipment and materials. Knowledge of applicable codes related to the electrical field. Engaged in electronics, instrumentation, or controls program at an accredited school. Degree in electronics, instrumentation, or controls desirable but not required. Seniority level
