Now Hiring: Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer We’re working with a client on a high priority direct hire opportunity supporting the buildout of a next generation medical manufacturing facility. This engineer will help lead the design, integration, and testing of control systems that power life saving diagnostics for cancer and cardiac care. This role is ideal for an engineer who is confident managing both design documentation and real world implementation. Someone who can own a system from spec to startup and collaborate across disciplines in a fast paced, highly regulated environment. What You Will Be Doing Designing and specifying instrumentation and control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA) Reviewing vendor deliverables and supporting install, test, and commissioning Generating I/O documentation, loop diagrams, and cable routing drawings Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and process teams to define requirements Leading technical discussions with vendors and helping guide procurement decisions Supporting field installation and startup phases as needed What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field 5 or more years of I&C or controls engineering experience in nuclear, biotech, pharma, aerospace, or other regulated industries Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI or SCADA development Vendor oversight experience and confidence making design decisions Strong communication skills with a mindset to ask questions, follow through, and take ownership Familiarity with NQA 1, safety rated systems, or regulated documentation protocols Exposure to FPGA based safety platforms such as Paragon HIPS Startup or commissioning project experience This is a chance to make a direct impact on a high visibility, mission driven project where engineering quality and practical execution come together.
