POSITION SUMMARY: The AEM Technical Architect is the most knowledgeable technical resource on the project, responsible for validating and enhancing designs from a Solutions Architect. They work on challenging technical tasks, either hands-on or by guiding developers, with a deep understanding of AEM configuration, OSGi layer, and system integration. They should also be familiar with Adobe Experience Cloud offerings and provide oversight, technical project management, code reviews, mentoring, and leadership. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide senior technical leadership on multiple complex AEM projects, guiding project managers, technical leads, and developers. Analyze technical requirements, develop solutions, and represent architectural decisions before review boards. Define integration points between AEM and enterprise systems like e-commerce, CRM, ERP, and search. Develop architectural roadmaps for long-term client projects. Lead deep dives and troubleshooting for AEM implementations. Develop and configure web content management solutions using AEM and related technologies (Java, HTML, XML, JavaScript, web services). Assist clients in achieving strategic objectives through technology solutions. Set up and configure AEM environments, including Author and Publish instances, dispatcher, and proxy. Translate business requirements into technical details for AEM. Ensure high code quality and design reusable AEM components. Understand client environments and provide focused technical advice. Estimate engagement activities and follow Agile/SCRUM methodologies. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience with web content management systems, including Adobe Experience Manager 6.0 or above. Experience with web portal back-end development. Strong Java/J2EE/JSP skills with at least 5 years of large system application development. Knowledge of JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS. SKILLS & TECHNOLOGIES: AEM Developer or Architect certification. Experience with Cloud AWS.
