Summary:
This position provides clerical and secretarial support to the commercial lending processing function of the bank, and prompt, courteous customer service. This position requires handling more complex transactions and assignments in the loan processing area.
Essential Job Functions: Accurately preparing loan documents. Ordering title work and appraisal. Ensure that adequate documentation is in order prior to loan closing. Keying loans into the system. Reviewing reports on input and verifying that information was keyed correctly. Preparing mortgage satisfactions for paid off loans and tearing down paid off loan files. Maintaining floor plan records. Coding modifications/ impaired loans and monitoring impaired loans for 12 months. Presenting and logging legal documents presented to the County Recorder, Auditor and Treasurer. Effective and tactful communication with customers, brokers, builders, appraisers and inspectors, creating and maintaining good public relations in day-to-day contact and the handling of complicated issues. Processes loan payments and advances. Balances various accounts. Filing of legal documents, scanning loan work daily. Keying daily work from all the branch offices, including advances new and renewed notes and all maintenance Inputting all new commercial loans for the day Editing all loans keyed data, and acting as backup during vacations Reviewing insurance that has been received in the mail for cancellations. Policy is scanned to the loan(s) that are secured by the collateral or an exception is set if cancellation received. Flood insurance tickled and scanned for proper flood zones, coverage and cancellation dates. Scanning of all financial information along with tax returns for commercial files. Managing UCC's, Flood, Appraisal, & Veritax websites for critical loan information Reviewing credit loan checks by another vendor. Providing back up for other loan support positions and related duties as assigned. Monitor exception reports to ensure missing or expired documentation is obtained in a timely manner.

Requirements
Job Requirements: High School Education or equivalent preferred. 2+ Years loan processing and operations experience. Customer Service skills, both phone and face to face. Ability to perform computer entry/navigation, as well as use spreadsheet and word processing programs. Good knowledge of lending products and procedures. Ability to accurately prepare loan documents or ability to learn.
