Senior Circuit Engineer
to join our team on the upcoming Enterprise DISA JSP ETM Services 2.0 program.
This position is onsite in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities
Oversee circuit activation, modification, upgrade, and deactivation in compliance with DISA TSOs and customer requirements, handling 65-125 TSOs monthly.
Plan and implement circuit installations or changes in TCFs, TRs, and POPs within the Pentagon and Mark Center.
Maintain and update Circuit Layout Records (CLRs) for all trunks, circuits, and systems.
Conduct Initial Test and Acceptance (T&A) for all circuits, maintaining test results.
Perform annual QC tests on trunks, links, channels, and circuits, documenting results.
Ensure adherence to DODIN performance standards and resolve issues.
Provide 24x7 support for circuit restoration and fault isolation.
Utilize government tools for monitoring and address disruptions promptly.
Maintain documentation and generate reports on circuit activities and performance.
Coordinate with vendors and personnel for circuit delivery and maintenance.
Manage trend analysis programs and prepare related reports.
Support and develop training programs for staff.
Handle COMSEC and physical security standards, including KEYMAT management.
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of IP and optical networks, DOD network security, and industry standards.
Experience with network monitoring tools and ITSM practices.
Excellent communication skills with management.
