Position Overview The Marketing Manager works closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing to lead a full-service marketing department that supports business development, employee engagement, and brand growth. This role is responsible for supervising internal marketing staff and external vendors, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic marketing initiatives across all channels. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional with strong leadership, organizational, and creative skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Work alongside the Sr. Director of Marketing to lead a dynamic marketing department. Supervise and mentor marketing team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with departmental goals. Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and creative agencies. Proposal Strategy & Performance Optimization Lead and actively participate in the planning, coordination, and development of proposals, qualifications, and award submissions to support business growth, ensuring high-quality, client-focused deliverables. Develop and manage consistent reporting processes to track proposal performance, including win/loss rates, key insights, and lessons learned, to inform future strategies and improve outcomes. Strategic Marketing & Brand Development Assist in managing the marketing budget, optimizing spend and resources to achieve business objectives. Provide strategic insights to enhance marketing and business development processes, tools, and materials. Oversee the development and execution of marketing initiatives to strengthen brand awareness and support business goals. Event & Engagement Management Partner with operations and other internal teams to support milestone celebrations, client outreach, and community engagement initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with sales, recruiting, operations, finance, and other departments to align marketing efforts with organizational priorities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 1-2 years in a management role. Knowledge of proposal coordination and familiarity with the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry is a plus. Proven ability to manage and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Strong understanding of branding, content creation, and marketing strategy. Experience managing budgets and working with external vendors/agencies. Seniority level
