Position Summary The People Partner drives workforce strategies, talent management, and organizational effectiveness to align with business goals. This role enhances leadership and employee experiences, supporting Empower's mission to help people live healthier, happier lives. Duties and Responsibilities
Builds and maintains effective relationships across all organizational levels, collaborating with the Vice President, People Operations and Partnering, to align business strategies with goals related to productivity, performance, and retention. Leads and supports organizational design processes to implement structures, roles, and processes that enhance efficiency and meet evolving business demands, while assessing and driving performance improvements using a consultative approach. Provides strategic coaching to business leaders on Human Resources (HR) policies, talent planning, learning and development, and performance management to foster engagement, high-performing teams, and a culture of continuous improvement. Partners with the Talent Development team to assess training and development needs, address skill gaps, and implement talent management strategies, including workforce planning, onboarding, career progression, and retention, using workforce analytics for insights. Collaborates with the People Experience team to identify and address employee relations challenges, while maintaining a feedback loop to enhance services, programs, and policies that align with organizational objectives. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. Proven ability to inspire confidence and trust across all levels through strategic thinking, adaptability, and a hands-on approach in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. Comprehensive expertise in core Human Resources disciplines, including organizational design, change management, and workforce planning, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

Minimum of 8 years of HR experience focusing on human capital planning and strategic workforce development, with 2 years of leadership experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or a similar field from an accredited four-year college is required. Preference for Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification.
