is seeking a
Logistics Manager
professional to join our team at
Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA . This position supports the
United States Air Force Link 16 program . The current work schedule is
hybrid, with 3 days a week at Hanscom AFB . Responsibilities include: Direct, develop, or perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, or evaluating logistical actions to support a specific mission, weapons system, or program.
This includes identifying requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services, and ensuring support is provided timely and appropriately. Logistics work requires: Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project. Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes per DoD 5000. Knowledge of the DoD’s integrated product support structure. Familiarity with PS-BCA and LCSP processes. Experience with Logistics Health Assessment (LHA). Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook. Understanding of policies related to government furnished equipment (GFE) and accountable property management. Leadership ability to guide project teams through complex tasks. Familiarity with agency program planning, funding, and management systems. Broad understanding of logistical support functions. Ability to coordinate and evaluate efforts of specialists to meet requirements on time. The key qualification is the ability to integrate functions in logistics planning and implementation. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications/Technical Experience: Must be a U.S. citizen. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS). Secret clearance required.
