is at the forefront of advanced manufacturing and is instrumental in revitalizing manufacturing in the United States. We use cutting-edge technologies to design and build plastic injection molds quickly and at competitive prices, matching the quality and materials of 1,000,000-shot molds produced in China. Currently, we are in the R&D phase to develop innovative manufacturing systems and machines, such as CNC, 3D printers, and robotics, utilizing proprietary AI/Machine Learning controls for enhanced speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Position Summary: We're looking for a multi-disciplinary
Electrical Controls Engineer
to help us develop and scale next-generation manufacturing systems. You’ll contribute to the design, programming, and integration of control systems for robotics, CNC machines, injection molding systems, and PCB-driven platforms. This role combines deep technical knowledge in industrial automation with hands-on involvement in machine builds and control logic development. Key Responsibilities: Design, program, and debug control systems for CNC, robotic, and molding equipment Create electrical schematics, I/O layouts, and panel designs (AutoCAD Electrical or similar) Integrate PCBs, microcontrollers, and custom embedded systems into control architectures Collaborate with software developers using Python and C++ to build AI/ML-enabled control layers Lead system commissioning, testing, and validation (including FAT/SAT) Ensure compliance with UL 508A, NFPA 79, CE, and IPC/ISO safety standards Troubleshoot and optimize machine systems for speed, repeatability, and reliability Contribute to the development of proprietary AI/ML-enabled manufacturing controls Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, 20+ years of hands-on experience with industrial automation and machine controls Or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with 10-15 years of experience Or PHD in Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience Strong PLC and HMI programming skills (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff, or equivalent) Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for hardware integration or robotics applications Understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and PCB/system integration Experience with multi-axis motion systems and robotic platforms In-depth knowledge of electromagnetic motor technologies
including
linear motors, torque motors, and servo systems —from selection and sizing to tuning and real-time control Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus, CAN, etc.) Strong documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Preferred Skills: Experience with CNC machine control and injection molding systems Background in robotic automation and ROS Familiarity with Altium or similar PCB design/review tools Integration of vision systems and smart sensors Exposure to AI/ML applications in real-time control systems Nice to Have: Experience with SCADA systems or custom dashboards for industrial monitoring Knowledge of database integration and data logging in manufacturing environments Understanding of thermal control systems (used in mold heating or 3D printing) Hands-on experience building or debugging prototype machines Familiarity with 3D printer hardware and firmware tuning Experience working in fast-paced R&D environments or startups Ability to reverse-engineer legacy control systems or retrofit older machines Exposure to cybersecurity practices for industrial control systems (ICS) Why Join Paradine Industries?
