Position : Senior Project Manager (for Commercial General Contractor)
Our client is a fast-growing Nashville Commercial General Contractor operating throughout the Southeast United States.
They are interviewing for a Senior Project Manager with at least 8+ years of experience in commercial construction working for a General Contractor directly.
We are looking to identify someone who has experience running up to $5M size projects specializing in : new ground up retail, office space, commercial, restaurants, shopping centers, and big box facilities.
The SPM is responsible for overseeing all project related estimates & budgets, all construction site operations, safety procedures, leading the project with the superintendent regarding: scheduling, business development, customer relationships, and quality control for each project.
This role will require a strong ability to lead, teach others, and
set the bar for project management team and field operations team. Necessary Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 8+ years of Commercial Project Management experience required running multiple projects (4-5) simultaneously over the size of $1Million Strong ability to understand plans, estimate projects, and extensive project management experience with a General Contractor Strong knowledge in sitework and building construction Must have experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor Skills and Responsibilities • Build-Out & Ground-Up Commercial project experience
required • Commercial Construction Experience (Projects $500K-$5+MM) • Estimating Expertise to Bid Future projects • Strong Planning & Communication skills • Negotiating | Contracts experience • Ability to work well with a small team • Impeccable organizational skills • Relationship building experience with owners around the area Compensation Competitive Salary & Bonus Package up to $160k+ (Salary DOE) Comprehensive Insurance coverage (BlueCross-BlueShield) All Travel expenses paid when needed (Company Credit Card) Retirement Plan ( 401-k) with 4% matching contribution. Compensation: $120,000-$130,000 per year
