What You’ll Do as the Transportation Senior Project Manager You will oversee and mentor multiple Project Managers across various offices while managing and tracking the department's backlog. Manage client relationships, cultivate new business connections, and collaborate with the Business Development Team to identify IDOT PTB items to pursue. Manage current IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects, as well as County and Municipal Transportation projects. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and alignment with business objectives. Monitor and manage the transportation department's backlog, ensuring accurate tracking, prioritization, and timely resolution to meet operational goals. What you will need to thrive in this role: Licensure:

Professional Engineer (PE) License in Illinois or ability to obtain. Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Experience:

15+ years working on IDOT roadway and bridge design projects, with experience managing and mentoring civil engineering staff. Location:

Schaumburg, IL - Hybrid schedule. Software skills:

Microsoft 365 and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Adaptability:
