Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Substation Senior Project Manager with deep expertise in substation engineering and utility project management. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience in substation design and delivery, hold a PMP certification, and demonstrate strong leadership in project execution, client communication, and risk management. This role offers remote flexibility and the opportunity to lead high-impact energy projects nationwide. Responsibilities: Lead the execution of substation projects, including schedule, budget, and resource planning Serve as the client-facing lead to resolve technical and project-related issues Conduct QA reviews, enforce engineering standards, and ensure compliance with utility requirements Support business development, proposal preparation, and change order negotiation Mentor junior engineers and guide cross-disciplinary project teams Requirements: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field 12+ years of experience in substation design and project management 2+ years in a project engineer or lead engineering role PMP certification required Proficiency in MS Project, Office, and familiarity with CAD standards Strong communication and team leadership skills Location: Remote with occasional travel; candidates near Chicago or Lisle, IL preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
