Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. We are looking to grow our team of skilled multi-discipline engineers and engineering consultants throughout North America. This is a key location based position.

Role description:
As the
Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager , you will successfully manage, lead, and expand a practice as a seller/doer to execute design tasks and deliver construction documents for civil infrastructure/site development, focusing on public and private client market sectors.
This role is to be based out of our Houston office and requires a minimum of 2 days a week in the office, and the remainder of the week is working from home.

Role accountabilities:
Develop and grow a regional practice supported by a local/regional/national client base. Ideally, this person will be an engaged, well-known, respected member of the local market with a strong existing client base Develop a team and identify leadership to execute civil infrastructure and site development projects for public and private sectors, including residential, institutional, and commercial developments Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, mentor team members, and serve as a positive leader Work directly with clients, design staff, and regulatory agencies to obtain permits and project approvals Oversee community and stakeholder communications for high-profile projects and participate as needed Present executive reports to stakeholders and approve new projects within specific programs Assist with business development, client management, and staff development to grow the civil practice Qualifications & Experience:
BS in Civil Engineering Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer 15+ years experience in civil/site development infrastructure projects Experience managing and successfully delivering civil/site development projects Why Arcadis?
