Join a World-Class Equity Derivatives Quant Team

Are you passionate about solving complex problems at the intersection of finance, mathematics, and technology? Our client is seeking an experience Quantitative Strategist to join their Equity Derivatives Quant team – a high-impact team responsible for building cutting-edge models and tools that drive the firm’s trading and risk management strategies.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your advanced analytical skills to real-world financial markets, work with industry-leading professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions across a broad spectrum of equity derivatives products.

What You’ll Do

• Enhance and support advanced quantitative models used for pricing and risk managing equity derivatives
• Contribute to the design and implementation of tools that improve trading strategies and risk capabilities
• Collaborate with trading, technology, and risk teams to deliver solutions under tight deadlines and dynamic market conditions
• Serve as a subject matter expert on equity derivatives and advanced financial modeling techniques

Requirements

• PhD in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
• Experience in a quantitative role within an investment bank, Investment Fund or financial institution
• Solid understanding of equity derivatives, with prior experience in quantitative research or model validation
• Strong grasp of stochastic calculus and numerical methods such as Monte Carlo simulation, PDE solvers, and optimization techniques
• Proficiency in Python
• Excellent communication skills – you’ll need to explain complex models to both technical and non-technical audiences
