ADNET Systems invites applications for a position as Senior Scientific Software Developer, to work as a contractor in support of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) and Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). This role can be performed remotely with occasional travel to visit customers or collaborators. The position will be available starting as soon as possible - salary to commensurate with experience.
We are seeking a Python Developer to design and build applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will combine strong Python development skills with knowledge of emerging LLM technologies to create intelligent, scalable systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of AI application development, creating systems that leverage the latest advancements in language model technologies.
Requirements:
US Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Investigation through NASA.
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field from an accredited college or university
7+ years of experience
Proficiency in Python programming
Experience with version control using Git/GitHub
Understanding of software development best practices
Familiarity with Agile methodology
Basic data analysis experience
Experience with LLM technologies (LangGraph, Multi-Agent frameworks, RAG systems)
Knowledge of communication protocols and middleware
Background in AI/ML development
Experience integrating with external APIs and databases
Understanding of Agile methodology and collaborative development
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well on a team and independently
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications and scripts across various services and tools
Write modular, testable, and efficient code following software development best practices
Build integrations with APIs, databases, and external systems using Python frameworks and libraries
Implement LLM technologies including LangGraph for graph-based workflows, Multi-Agent frameworks, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems
Conduct basic data analysis to validate datasets, identify trends, and support model tuning
Work with communication protocols and middleware to facilitate service-to-service or agent-based interactions
Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers on intelligent systems powered by foundation models
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, code reviews, and iterative development
