Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented scientist to join our dynamic in vivo pharmacology team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in conducting preclinical research to support novel therapeutic development in oncology, autoimmune diseases, and central nervous system (CNS) disorders. You will design, execute, and interpret in vivo studies, contributing to the mechanistic understanding of drug candidates and the progression of assets through the discovery pipeline. Responsibilities: Design and conduct in vivo pharmacology studies in rodent models relevant to oncology, autoimmune, and CNS disease. Develop and validate disease models to assess efficacy, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) of new compounds. Perform routine animal handling procedures and injections (SC, IP, IV, IM). Collaborate closely with medicinal chemistry, biology, and translational science teams to optimize therapeutic strategies. Analyze and present data to cross-functional project teams, contributing to candidate selection and IND-enabling studies. Maintain detailed electronic records, ensuring quality and compliance with institutional animal care guidelines. Independently perform in vivo efficacy studies utilizing xenograft models of immuno-oncology. Conduct bioluminescent imaging to detect and measure tumor growth and treatment efficacy. Analyze bioluminescent imaging for various studies. Perform cell-based testing, including maintenance and plating of cell lines and primary cells to support ongoing in vivo studies Provide general laboratory assistance, including laboratory equipment maintenance, ordering, and organizing supplies. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Immunology, Cancer Biology, or a related field; or M.S. with significant industry experience. Hands-on experience in rodent models of cancer, autoimmune disease, and/or CNS disease. Familiarity with PK/PD principles and assay development. Strong skills in dosing techniques (SC, IP, IV), tissue collection, and biomarker analyses (ELISA, flow cytometry, histology) Preferred familiarity with Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism for necessary data entry, analysis, and presentations Strong record-keeping and data documentation skills. Excellent organization and communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Candidate must be familiar with IACUC protocols and guidelines Familiarity with IVIS bioluminescence imaging. In vitro experience in handling and propagating primary cells. Ex vivo experiences to support characterization of cell therapies (e.g. ELISA, Flow Cytometry). Experienced in working with immunodeficient mice such as (NSG mice). genetically engineered models and/or humanized mouse system.
