The Senior Research Associate is responsible for developing, optimizing and troubleshooting different unit operations in the manufacturing of LNPs and other non-viral gene delivery methods. In addition, the Senior Research Associate is responsible for understanding the process parameters on the Drug product physical parameters. About The Role
The Senior Research Associate is responsible for developing, optimizing and troubleshooting different unit operations in the manufacturing of LNPs and other non-viral gene delivery methods. In addition, the Senior Research Associate is responsible for understanding the process parameters on the Drug product physical parameters.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot TFF ultra and diafiltration technologies. Assess new unit operations and investigate their suitability for the process. Test, develop, optimize and troubleshoot particle generation mixing technologies. Characterize nanoparticles using various techniques and assays. Edit and review Batch Records, protocols and reports.
Skills And Experience
A minimum BS in chemical engineering, Bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or an MSC in chemical engineering, Bioengineering, or pharmaceutical sciences with 2-3 years of experience. Desire and drive to learn about process development and unit operations in non-viral gene therapy, specifically lipid nanoparticles. Experience with self-assembly and suspension formulations is an asset. Good verbal and written communication skills.
