What You Will Do Spearhead platform upgrades that keep products at the forefront of innovation in the AI space Bridge the worlds of machine learning, data engineering, and software development Deploy ML solutions to production environments with a focus on performance optimization Work with Python Data Stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Matplotlib, etc.) Collaborate with technical product managers to enhance AI data applications Contribute to advanced analytics in areas such as predictive maintenance, supply chain, and cyber analytics Optimize data access patterns for maximum performance Work in a security-conscious environment with government and defense applications Ideal Candidate Background 4+ years of experience in Python-based data engineering Proven track record deploying ML solutions in production environments Experience with the end-to-end lifecycle of AI applications, from model development to deployment Proficiency with Python and solid understanding of the Python Data Stack Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git 1+ years of experience with task schedulers (e.g., Celery, Airflow, Prefect) and web-app development stacks (Flask/Django or app building kits like Streamlit/Plotly Dash) CS or related technical degree Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong sense of ownership Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Background in defense-related applications Experience with predictive maintenance, supply chain, or scheduling optimization Knowledge of cyber analytics, PCAP and network monitoring, or cyber vulnerabilities Active security clearance (TS/SCI) Experience working with government/defense applications Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary range: $150,000 - $215,000 Equity: 5000 shares Flexible 40-hour work week (core hours 10am-4pm) Career advancement opportunities for those interested in senior engineering positions and technical leadership Occasional travel (5-10%) between offices and to customer sites
