We are on the lookout for a Senior Robot Simulation Engineer who is passionate about advancing the development, testing, and validation of cutting-edge autonomous robotic systems. This role involves creating sophisticated 2D and 3D simulation platforms, formulating realistic scenarios, and integrating robot software with these simulation environments to facilitate safe testing and validation prior to real-world deployment. About the Team:
Our Robotics Software team is at the forefront of developing next-generation autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and intelligent robotic platforms, delivering innovative solutions that shape the future of work. Your Responsibilities: Develop and enhance simulation platforms to facilitate thorough testing, validation, and performance analysis of autonomous robots. Craft and maintain diverse simulation scenarios reflecting both common and edge-case real-world applications. Integrate navigation software for robots into the simulation framework to enable effective behavior assessment. Assist in debugging and validating robot functionalities within the simulation setting. Analyze outcomes from simulations to pinpoint software or system shortcomings. Establish and refine regression and progression testing workflows for simulations. Essential Skills and Qualifications: A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Proficiency in Python or C++ programming languages. Hands-on experience with simulation platforms like Isaac Sim or Gazebo. Familiarity with physics engines (e.g., PhysX, Bullet, ODE) or 3D game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine). Understanding of ROS2 or other robotics middleware. Knowledge of core robotics concepts, including localization, mapping, and planning. Competitive Advantage: Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and simulation tools. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for simulation-focused regression or performance testing. Background in cloud-based simulation environments. Experience with V/ADAS integration or industrial automation is highly appreciated. Location:
