Location: Hybrid, Austin, TX (3 days remote | Mondays & Tuesdays Onsite)
Salary:
$117,270.40 - $167,523.20 Overview: We are seeking an experienced
Senior Front-End Software Engineer
to lead the design and development of front-end user interfaces for our enterprise applications. This role is pivotal in creating innovative, robust, and accessible UI applications that adhere to industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain user interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Ensure compliance with ADA/Accessibility standards for UI designs. Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, and deployment. Adhere to Agile methodologies by engaging in planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Debug and optimize front-end elements for enhanced performance and reliability. Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) using tools like Karma and Jasmine. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Conduct performance tests and provide recommendations for UI improvements. Support the CI/CD pipeline through automation scripts for front-end deployments. Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Front End/UI development, particularly with Angular and similar frameworks. Proficient in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and responsive design principles. Extensive experience with SPAs and client-facing applications. Strong understanding of programming concepts relating to performance and scalability. Knowledge of ADA/Accessibility compliance in UI development. Experience with test-driven development methodologies. Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience with Spring Boot Java Applications. Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies, especially Scrum. Experience developing web applications for cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices. Development experience for mobile and tablet platforms is a plus.
