We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to manage complex, high-exposure claims involving litigation and rehabilitation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and advance within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, investigate, and manage complex or technically challenging workers' compensation claims
Develop and execute action plans to ensure timely and accurate claims resolution
Negotiate settlements within designated authority
Establish and monitor claim reserves; process benefits and payments accurately
Ensure state filings are prepared and submitted on time
Manage the litigation process and coordinate with vendors as needed
Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities and recoveries
Communicate effectively with claimants and clients; maintain accurate and well-documented files
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of California workers' compensation claims management experience
Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certifications are a plus
Strong understanding of insurance principles, WC laws, cost containment, and recovery processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management systems

Pay Details:
$43.00 per hour
