$110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Sentinel is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to support and design cloud and virtualization solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in VMware, Veeam, UCS, Linux, and Windows environments. Responsibilities include onboarding new customers, supporting data center migrations, and configuring VLANs in UCS/VMware. This role requires excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills as you will be working with various cross functional teams. Candidates should have experience in technical support and be comfortable in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
This position can be remote but may need to provide onsite support to our Downers Grove, IL headquarters as needed. Qualifications: 5–7 years of industry experience in designing and supporting cloud and virtualization solutions. Deep understanding and hands-on experience in server hardware, virtualization, cloud integrations, and security to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance is required. Must be able to design, implement, and manage mission-critical data center infrastructure Must have a strong understanding of server virtualization, storage systems, and hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) solutions Provide senior-level technical support and system engineering for all Windows-based and Linux-based platforms including Active Directory, DNS, RDS Planning, executing, and overseeing the successful migration of data center infrastructure, applications, and services Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more datacenter technologies Experience with Veeam backups and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) experience is a plus Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude We focus on candidates that display our “ACE” factor – Attitude, Compassion, and Enthusiasm to deliver quality solutions with exceptional customer service.
